Born from a passion for woodworking and a love of cooking and hosting, KABE was created to fill a gap we saw in the market: beautifully crafted boards that are both functional and sustainable. Each piece we make is one of a kind, shaped by the natural character of locally sourced Portuguese wood.
Every board is handcrafted with care, using mostly chestnut wood sourced from local, ethical suppliers. Because each tree is unique, every board has its own shape, pattern, and personality—no two will ever be alike. That individuality makes them more than kitchen tools; they’re timeless pieces you’ll reach for again and again.
Rooted in Sustainability
Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We follow a zero-waste approach, source our materials locally here in Portugal, and finish every board with our own non-toxic, food-grade, vegan oil. For us, creating responsibly is just as important as creating beautifully
